Beth Tarleton
Beth Tarleton — University of Bristol
Beth is an experienced Principle Investigator and has 15 years’ experience of researching positive support for parents with LD. She is the co-ordinator of the WTPN and is well respected for her research around support for parents with LD internationally. Beth runs training for professionals on supporting parents and recently updated the appendix of the forthcoming update of Good Practice Guidance summarising the current state of research around parenting by adults with LD.
Gillian MacIntyre
Gillian MacIntyre — University of Strathclyde
Gillian is an established researcher/author in relation to parents with LD, her research focusing on service involvement with parents with LD. She is also involved in social work education, with a focus on Adult Social Care and mental health and is Course Director on the PG Cert in Mental Health Social Work.
Rhian Fawcett
Rhian has a background in advocacy and research alongside marginalised women and people with learning disabilities. She has previously worked with mothers with learning disabilities when working at Pause.
